Change of Venue – Yorkshire Points Rd 7, Sheffield

Organiser Dan Cook has been in touch with details of a change of venue for the 7th round of the Yorkshire Points Series on 27th October.

Dan had this to say about the changes:

“Apologies for this but a combination of factors have conspired against us running a cross race at Parkwood this year. However, with the council’s support, I have arranged for a different venue, which actually has better facilities (toilets, parking, even showers!) at The Girl Guides Outdoor Activity Centre, Whitely Woods, Common Lane, Sheffield, S11 7TG.

This has some big fields, woodland and parkland adjoining to it that Dave Maloney and I have set out what we reckon will be a great course to suit from there. The centre is just up the road from High Storrs School, which occasionally had events some time ago if that puts the location in perspective for you – essentially the event will run as planned, and will still be ace.

Details of this event can also be found on our 2013-14 calendar page
