KINESIS PRESSURE WASHER NEWS

PRESSURE WASHER UPDATES

Our sponsor Kinesis have provided two pressure washers for use by Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross Association. These are going to be made available at Yorkshire Points events. We will be bringing one tomorrow for the use of those of you who swop bikes during races for the Youths, Seniors and Vets. They will also be available at the end for a short time for those of you wanting to give the bikes a quick rinse before leaving.
They will be set up by Joe Parker in a Kinesis wash area next to the pits. He will start them and make sure they have petrol at the beginning of the day. To be able to use them, there are a few simple rules to follow.

1) Can only be used during your race or your riders race.
Don’t try and use it to wash down your bike after practice if others need it during their event.
2) No Water – No Wash.
You bring your own water container suitable for the pressure washer to draw water up and enough water to do so.Large water containers are ideal.DO NOT LET IT RUN DRY!
3) It’s not a service wash!
You wash your own.
4) £1 a day as contribution to Petrol costs. There will be a bucket to collect money by the side.
5) Take turns nicely!
Queue up to use them and take turns. If it’s not your race, you can’t use them
6) You break it, you pay for it.
7) When it’s time to pack away, the pressure washer will be taken away even if you are still wanting to wash your bike.
JOE WILL BE AROUND TO ASSIST WITH USING IT IF NEEDED – INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE WITH THE PRESSURE WASHER.
We will see how we go but if there are any issues using them, you may lose the opportunity!
