This is the home of Yorkshire Cyclo-Cross and where you will find all the information on the current series as well as information and results for all our events. Run entirely by volunteers, we organise a series of races around the Yorkshire area.
York National Trophy – 14-15 December 2019 – YCCA’s flagship event and a great opportunity to see the country’s best riders in action. Here’s how you can get involved:
Marshal: we need volunteer marshals to make this event happen. Please support our biggest event – Volunteer Here
Ride: Enter via the British Cycling website (entries close 3 December) – Enter Here
Course Build: Saturday 7th December, there’s a course-build day at York for the following weekend’s National Trophy event. Spend the day building the course, then get a chance to ride it later in the afternoon. Meet organiser Andrew Johnstone outside the main entrance at the YorkSport Building at 9am. Bring waterproofs, wellies and gloves, packed lunch plus pliers/snips/craft knives. Address is York Sport Cycle Circuit, York Sports Village, Lakeside Way, York, North Yorkshire, YO10 5FG
Spectate: come along and support the event, bring your cow-bells and make some noise. The spectating opportunities are arguably the best at any UK course, with 95% of the course visible from the tarmac walkway around the site’s velodrome – so you don’t even need to get your feet muddy! The on-site facilities are superb too (indoor cafe etc). Racing starts 09.35 Saturday and 11.20 Sunday.
