Winter Season: Eligibility for Final Standings

The YCCA committee have taken the decision to include a final standings eligibility, to ensure we can continue to deliver events that are safe for riders, spectators, as well as ensure the future of Cyclo-cross in Yorkshire.

For all senior and veteran riders to be eligible for inclusion in this winter season’s final league standings, we are asking riders, to sign-up to assist with the running of the races at least once during the season.
 
Volunteering opportunities are available across all our events, and include:

  • Course set-up
  • Sign-on
  • Morning marshalling
  • Afternoon marshalling
  • Course take-down

 
Links to all rounds volunteering sheets can be found in the volunteer section of our website and under each round entry button in the events section of our website and will appear in rider briefing notes.
 
Riders who do not register for a volunteer role or fail to honour their volunteer commitment, will still have their finishing times and positions published for each race they participate in, and appear on the running league standings, but they will not feature on the overall standings at the end of the season.
