Winter Series
There are no prizes for individual rounds, but we do celebrate the top 3 with a podium presentation though we do have random ‘spirit of the sport’ prizes.
Gridding of the first (winter series) race is based upon series position in the previous season.
Gridding for all subsequent races is based upon the current series rankings.
Overall series rankings will be based upon the sum of a rider’s highest race scores – the maximum number of race scores that will be counted will be three less than the total number of races in the season – i.e. up to a maximum of three of a rider’s worst race scores will not be counted towards their overall series ranking.
After the series has ended there is an ‘Awards’ night where we celebrate all the riders who have competed and the top riders are presented with trophies.
Overall standings can be found on our front page.
There is no overall series top 3 in the U9’s & U12’s. Each race rewards the top 3 in these events with a YCCA badge and all other competitors in the race are rewarded with sweets.
Entries to races can be made up untill 9pm on the Wednesday preceeding an event.
Summer Series
There are no prizes for individual rounds.
Gridding of the summer series race is based upon your previous Winter Series standing.
Overall series rankings will be based upon Rider’s best four scores out of a maximum of six races
Overall standings can be found on our front page.
There is no overall series top 3 in the U9’s & U12’s. Each race rewards the top 3 in these events with a YCCA badge and all other competitors in the race are rewarded with sweets.
Entries close 9pm on the Sunday before the event.
We are unable to accept late entries or entry on the day. No exception.
If for unforseen reasons you are unable to start a round that you have entered, we do allow one tranfer of an entry to another round per season. Please get in touch before the race weekend you can’t attend for us to arrange this.
Organisers looking to hold events in Yorkshire should contact yccasecretary@outlook.com Get in touch and we will help you to get your event off the ground, make sure everything runs smoothly on the day and, perhaps most importantly, fit it into the schedule for the season and help to promote it.
