Pressure Washers – Update

YCCA have been in consultation with British Cycling with regards to our stance of pressure washers being used at events during the hosepipe ban.

We have been assured that Yorkshire Water are happy for pressure washers to be used on a health & safety basis and as such we are rescinding our ban on pressure washers at events, We do however would like to remind you that water stocks across the county are still low and would request that you use water responsibly and also if you have any excess water remaining, that you do not empty it out at any venue, this includes the pit area and car parks. Failure to comply to this request could compromise our use of venues at later dates.

The one exception to the use of personal pressure washers is R6 Cowling where the event organiser is requesting that none are brought onsite as pressure washers will be provided by the venue.

Parking Charges

You may have noticed that the majority of our events now have parking charges. We’d like to assure you that these fees are either requested directly by the venue, as many parks are now installing paid parking or are being used to offset the rising charges of the venues we are able to use.  Please bring suitable means of payment, which will be collected at sign on.
