Rider Instructions for Team Cystic Fibrosis Cyclo-Cross Sunday November 15th

Race venue is Wentworth Castle Gardens, Lowe Lane, Stainborough, Barnsley, S75 3EN, follow the brown signs from Junction 37 of the M1 and you can’t go wrong. Please don’t go to Wentworth Woodhouse which is actually in Wentworth this is a totally different place!!

Parking will be in the lower half of the main car park and in the overflow, please follow marshalls instructions. We’re trying to leave the top of the car park free for visitors to the park and gardens, please park considerately and we’ll fit everyone in without any issues. Don’t park in the Northern College car park.

No parking on the driveway as this will be used as the start for the races. You’ll be able to drop off any pit equipment in the layby halfway up the driveway, it’s a short walk to the pit area.

Signing on will be situated outside the Visitor Centre a short walk from the car park, you’ll be able to buy food and drink from the cafe and from the kiosk. All riders will receive a discount voucher for a hot drink when signing on.

Toilets are in the cafe and round the right hand side of the Visitor Centre up the metal steps.

Dogs must be on leads at all times.

Please keep an eye on your children, there are various hazards around the course eg the driveway, the Serpentine bridge and lakes.

After you’ve raced please take the opportunity to have a look round, it’s a great venue with lots to see and do. See website for more information http://www.wentworthcastle.org/

Signing on will also close 15 minutes before each race to allow data imput.Results: Please e-mail any results queries within 48 hours of publishing. At the first event, a lot of riders put the chip number in the bib number column and vice versa which created a huge problem when calculating the results. Please ensure you put the right info in the correct place in future. There was also some missing information. As posted previously, No chip written down, or no chip on, no result will be credited.
