Some important information for you for the event.

Address – Shibden Estate Park – Godley Lane
Halifax HX3 6XG

Car Parking – The car parking is accessed from the A58 Godley Lane entrance to Shibden Park. Marshals will direct you into parking spaces. These are on a first come first served basis. Parking outside of the designated parking areas may result in Parking Tickets and being towed away.
Please make sure you put a parking ticket on your vehicle. Parking charges of £1 per day.

Camping – Camping for caravans and Campervans is in the main car park on the hard standing. This is on a first come first served basis. Please make sure you refresh your parking ticket each morning.
Tents – The tent pitches are on the grass in front of The Mere Cafe. Cars must be parked in the main car park. There is no car parking on the camping area.

You may camp from Friday night but please be aware that the park gates will be locked at 6pm on Friday Night and re-opened at 7am Saturday morning.
You are responsible for all of your own possesions. Please do not leave valuables unlocked.
This is a public park and is open throughout the event.
No fires.
Showers and toilets are situated in the main car park.

Don’t forget a torch!

Registration – Registration is situated in the Event Village next to Shibden Hall, its is a short walk up the lawn past the course.

Registration for each race will open two hours prior to the race and will close half an hour before the race starts. The more time you leave yourself the less chance of queues.

Pits – You may drive to the pits as long as you do it before 9am. There is a tap in the pits. The pits are situated above the old paddling pool on the eastern side of the course.

THE COURSE IS CLOSED TO VEHICLES FROM 9AM.
THE COURSE IS OPEN FOR PRACTICE FROM 9AM.

1.45pm – Senior/Junior/V40 men ‘War of the Roses’
3.15pm – Elite Invitational
4.45pm – ‘War of the Roses’ Trophy presentation.

6.30pm Fun Night Race (over 18 only)

If you are racing the night race and do not have lights then Hope Technology have lights on loan.
There are 30 sets of lights. You will need to leave a creditcard or passport with them for security.

This is a free service kindly provided by Hope Technology.

You must have lights on your bike to start the race.

Bar and Food vendors

The bar is licensed from 12pm-10pm on Saturday and 12pm – 6pm on Sunday.
We have food from Streatza Pizza, The Porkery, Kurly Kath’s Cakes, Mutleys Crepes, Rapha H-van,
The North Brewing Company.

Please take all rubbish home with you or put it in a bin.
