TIMINGS FOR THE SUMMER SERIES ROUNDS –
There will be 6 counting rounds out of 8 unless an event doesn’t run when it will be reviewed. The races will be as follows:
6.45pm Under 8 BORN 2010 or LATER
7.00pm Under 14 Race (Riders BORN 2004-2009)
7.30pm Over 14 Race (Riders Born 2003 or Earlier)

NO RIDING UP WILL BE PERMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES – RIDERS MUST RIDE IN THEIR CORRECT AGE CATEGORY.
Riders will be set off on two different whistles in the Over 14 race as last year.
Entry fees: (including chip timing in both races): U14 £3, U16 £5,Juniors £7, Senior/Vet £10. Please make sure you bring the correct change. All organisers and helpers are volunteers and it will make the event run a lot smoother if you bring the exact money. Day licence fees will apply to those in the Junior Category and above who do not have a valid British Cycling Race membership.
Numbers:
Under 8/10/12 Categories– You will have a summer series number which will be issued out each week and collected after your race each week. The number will be the same for the series. Please don’t take it home.
Under 14 and Older Categories:
You use your winter number or if new, will need to purchase a series number for £1 which will be lent to you until you change age categories or leave the series when it will need to be handed back. Please don’t cut or deface the number, it will need to be reused in the future.
Please don’t forget your series race numbers. It is important you wear your correct number each week so please make sure you bring it with you. Wearing your correct number as allocated to you acts as a back up to chip timings system/allows quick identification should you have an accident/allows riders to be identified should there be any conduct issues during the race/allow the announcer to identify you. In future riders forgetting their number run the risk of not being given a result and/or series points.
If you lose your number, there will be a £5 charge to replace it.
